SoftDesign is an experimental research platform designed for exploring automated structural modelling. The service, results, and generated files are provided on an “as is” and “best effort” basis. Structural outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or fail to compute.

No reliability guarantee

• The application may be unavailable or discontinued without notice.
• Generated analyses are not verified by a professional engineer and must not be used for real-world design decisions.
• You are solely responsible for validating and backing up any information produced through the service.

Account responsibilities

• You must keep your login credentials confidential.
• When purchasing credit you acknowledge that billing is calculated from OpenAI API usage and compute time. Credit is denominated in AUD and is non-refundable.
• You agree not to misuse the platform or attempt to access other users’ data.

Data handling

Model requests and generated code may be processed by third-party services (including OpenAI) to provide responses. Avoid uploading confidential or production-critical data.

Limitation of liability

SoftDesign, its maintainers, and collaborators disclaim any liability for losses or damages arising from use of the application, including business interruption or engineering failures.

By creating an account you confirm that you have read and understood these terms, acknowledge the experimental nature of the service, and will independently store any outputs you wish to keep.
